I remember seeing a Death Cab for Cutie music video where they used the sun with this sort of trick, it was really neat!

some of them were really good, others not so convincing. The shot of the Eiffel Tower, for example, is broken by having the base of the tower and the surrounding clearly smaller and further away cars included. The banana one is similarly askew because it looks like they're stuck in it, but jumping...

There's also a Flicker group for these kinds of pictures.
