Although his paintings were allegedly stolen fro his westside home last month, Richard L. Weisman waived the $25 million he could have gotten under his insurance policy.
It was too much of a hassle to deal with the insurance company.

Maybe he paid someone to steal them so he could collect the insurance, but then chickened out when he learned the heat was on.
