"Anti-advertising advocates."

I've always loved how the "anti-corporate" crowd advertises against advertising.

I wrote a song today, condemning songwriting.

The artwork for the CD single can be found at www.f*ckabunchofCDart.com

(Don't get me wrong -- I hate the ad industry, but come on!)

The posting of ads on construction fences has gone on as long as I can remember in NYC.

The posting people, called "snipes" will pick up your posters on a daily basis and post them up every night.

In the 1970's I was a partner in a Country Western night club and we used this service regularly to advertise our club (Sundown) and the latest country star we would have performing.

Obviously, at least in those days, this kind of service was used by people who could not afford to buy ad space in the newspapers or magazines.

No one made much of a fuss over it because the fence would eventually come down ads and all.
