Is it wrong that I like filling in my Self Assessment Tax Return? Last year I got paid £696 in overpaid taxes, and this year I got a massive £17.14 :P

atleast you guys get refunds. here you need to run after them like its some debtor and not the govt.

And if you get it back after 1-2 years - after the assessment year - cool. but no interest. even though you enter a bank transfer no and its app on the computers - I even file online with a digital certificate. still some lazy @#$*&#$ has to OK it I guess. or they just don't like giving back money here.

Maine is voting on the gay marriage veto today. If we vote to keep gay marriage legal, we'll be the first state ever (out of something like 30? that have held public referendums) to legalize same sex marriage by a public vote.

Size is the limit. We used an approximately 3x5x1 ft tank - it should accomodate a 12-year old as well, if you have enough helping hands (I had 3 male adults to constrain the child). For girls, you might want to hire female staff in order to comply with state laws.
