How's this for a belly laugh? The pregnant women who decorate their bumps with amazing artwork
How's this for a belly laugh? The pregnant women who decorate their bumps with amazing artwork
t's the most exciting time in a woman's life - and, for some, the best way to commemorate the experience of pregnancy is with a painted belly. As these incredible pictures show, the spherical shape of an expectant mother's stomach forms a perfect round canvas. picked by sharon22 7 months ago

Yeah like this one:
Funny - but stupid.
No regard for their unborn child. Any idiot knows that anything consumed by the pregnant woman into her body will be absorbed by the foetus. This is why many women are careful with makeup, deoderants, body lotions etc.
Oh, how I would laugh with such pride if these were pictures of my Mother.
Riiiight. So the baby's gonna get cancer from the paint. Shouldda known. Everything gives you cancer nowadays.

The whole paint = cancer thing is stupid. My wife gave up alcohol (obviously, though I insist that from what I have read it is perfectly fine to have a glass of wine once a week) and coffee (caffeine has some possibly interesting DNA/RNA replication splicing errors issues) but body paint, once or twice? Whatever. Other than that...these preggers have too much time on their hands, or very bored, frustrated, and artistic partners.

-H'mm........if a man with a huge beer belly had it painted in similar ways to those illustrated for this story, would anyone be cooing over it, still less applauding it? In the same way, what would lead a pregnant woman to believe that it's any more attractive for her own vastly expanded midriff to be on such overt and garish display? I don't care how many red ratings my comments might attract - I agree with other postings here that displaying huge painted bellies is tacky, unsightly and if you've got it, it doesn't necessarily mean that you have to flaunt it! Less would definitely be more, in these cases.....-

BEER BELLIES AND PREGNANCY ARE NOT THE SAME THING!
