just trying to scare you.
most people's immune systems are more than capable of dealing with the daily virus threats, and we have grown to be immune to many viruses over the millenia.

now, when a super plague comes along, such as a genetically modified smallpox, all hell could break loose.

h1n1 isn't a threat. not even close. yet.

Depends on who you are. I caught scarlet fever when I was a teenager by visiting a hospital gift shop at the same time as someone with resistant strep throat. Now think about who else might have a job, or kids who go to school, or who might shop and go to the movies and eat out in the same places you are, and it kind of makes you wonder.
