Such intelligence and such poor poetry. :)

I am imagining a space craft showing up in our solar system engraved with the declaration that "all multi-dimensional Alpha Centaurians are created equal".

So much for us eh.

Perhaps all sentient life. But then who gets to decide that one?

The Vogons who are going to remove Earth out of the way of a new intergalactic overpass probably care as much about human equality as we do when we kill off pests like ants in our homes, they probably think they are equal too...

Oh, good. They probably spent a lot of government money to shoot a lie into space. Fantastic.

They're a bureaucratic race. Not much equality in that. ;)

delete the words after conscience .replace with:

"to which they are entitled to peace and liberty."

They already did.

This is the replacement.

I know.
But I prefer living in the delusion that I am not just a tiny part of a mouse-built computer.

Mouse built computer is probably better than dreaming in a pod whilst being used as a battery.

Something of a deviation from the original topic (but I'm fairly certain you'll not mind that), I never quite understood what the downside of being in the Matrix was. It seemed to be a lot better than living in a cave in constant fear of attack from quite painful looking metal squid.
