These movies have been made with a Canon Powershot S60, using its 'Intervalometer' feature to make the shots.

The brownsnout spookfish has two sets of eyes. One regular pair looks up and the second mirrored pair look down. The mirrors focus what little light there is from below more efficiently than a regular ocular lens.

But that doesn't explain it's name - did it get those eyes by sucking up to more important fish.
